In a statement received today by the Home Office the purported leaders of the faction are quoted as saying, ‘We are properly armed and determined to sacrifice human lives wherever necessary to ensure a future in which the human animal is strictly grass fed, and all cultivated livestock has been released to once again roam the free range.’”

Having lived among some pretty militant vegans when I was in California, I can honestly say I would not put it past them. Thank you Sadje..

I thought Free Range was better. Better for the animals and safer to eat. I’m not Vegan but seems to make sense and better for all concerned. Nice write though 😊

This was intended to be tongue in cheek, although I have found myself in conversation that make such behaviors seem not all that impossible… Thanks for reading, Jen.

I know a lot of vegetarians and a few vegans, but I’ve never run across a militant or belligerent vegan.

I am human, not an animal. As a human I like to eat certain animals to nourish my human body……..as long as I don’t have to look in their eyes.

I don’t deny anyone their right to eat what they choose as long as they do it at the dinner table-and not on a soap box…

Ha ha! That made me smile 🙂 I can just imagine that happening back in the UK, but very definitely not in South Africa when veganism is almost unheard of.
