“If you want me, just whistle.” James said as he closed the bedroom door behind him, and wished his friend, Bobby, a good night.
‘At least I know I’m doing everything I can to help him at this point.’ James consoled himself as he slipped into a shirt and pulled his boots on.
The vicious cycle of Bobby’s wife going ballistic and throwing him out in the middle of the night had been going on for years, and ever the faithful friend, James had never turned him away when he came knocking, looking for a place to stay.
She always got over it, and the next day they were back together, just as if nothing had ever happened.
But for James, this routine was getting old.
And truth be told, he was getting tired of sleeping with Bobby’s wife every couple of weeks- but it was the only way he could get her to let him back in the house..

lol, I’ve heard of cheating with the best friends wife, but I never heard of it being done grudgingly to help that friend. Obviously Bobby’s wife throws him out of the house every time she has an itch to sleep with James (who is most likely gay).

Why does everyone seem to think James is gay? I mean he could be. I didn’t ask. and he didn’t say….

Well, it doesn’t sound like there is a woman in his life that he is leaving while he goes visiting with Bobby’s wife and yet he doesn’t seem to enjoy it much – but most heterosexual males would really enjoy the occasional no-strings-attached fling, particularly if they don’t have a significant other at the time to “satisfy” them 😉

Ah ha! I might talk like a sailor, but I don’t think like a man. Thanks Trent!

I don’t get the gay angle either.. But I could answer, “who’s Bobby’s dog?” for five hundred… Thanks. Clark!

I didn’t feel the gay angle, either. Methinks the wife is enjoying tormenting her hubby. Time for Bobby to grow some balls and hightail it outta there. As for James, really? You need a new hobby… 😉

I just wonder how miserable she is going to make James, if he pulls out on the present arrangement? Thanks, Dale
